BOLD AND SMOOTH (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she got a long way back over 1000m at Sunshine Coast, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Has started four times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. DOUBTING EYE (1) will find this easier than last start when tenth over 1200m at Doomben, that effort coming on the back of a minor placing two back at this track. Worth including in this easier race. DIDDLEY SQUAT (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in second over 1200m at this track after being in the firing line on the turn. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MR ENCORE (7) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1000m at Sunshine Coast. Ryan Wiggins who has three wins when partnering stays on. One of the better hopes.
