Card

IMPORTANT UPDATE: In line with legislative changes, credit cards and payments linked to a credit card, including digital wallets, are no longer an accepted deposit method to fund your betr account. Debit cards are still permitted and are not impacted by these changes.

To pay by card, click the "Deposit" button on the menu bar and then click 'Card Deposit'. Once you have made a card deposit, there is no need to re-enter your details for future deposits, unless your card expires. If you use more than one card to deposit, all cards will appear in a drop-down menu on the same page and you simply need to choose which card you wish to use and enter the security CCV number. betr does not charge any card fees.

PayID

To deposit using PayID, you will first need to generate your unique Pay ID. Head to the deposit page and select PayID/Bank EFT method. Hit "START USING PAYID" and we will generate a unique PayID email address linked to your betr account. Once you have copied your Pay ID, you'll need to log into your Online Banking/Banking App. Select the option to pay anyone via Pay ID/Email. Paste the Pay ID you copied from your betr account into the relevant field and the amount you wish to deposit & confirm your transactions. The funds should reach your account instantly. If it's your first time transferring via Pay ID, your bank may put a temporary hold on the funds while they verify the payment.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is a fast and simple way to deposit into betr. It is, however, only supported by Apple devices. To deposit using Apple Pay, navigate to the deposit page and select Apple Pay. From there, enter the amount you want to deposit and then select Pay with Apple Pay. Once you authenticate the payments, your funds will be updated to your account balance instantly.

Google Pay

Google Pay is a quick and secure way to fund your betr account. To deposit using Google Pay, navigate to the deposit page and select Google Pay. From there, enter the amount, tap the Google Pay button, confirm the payment details, and complete the transaction. Once approved, your funds will be updated to your account balance instantly.

Fund Transfers

You can pay by EFT (Electronic funds transfer). This is done using internet banking with your nominated finance institution. Please include your UserID number as a reference on any bank transfer. Deposits made via bank EFT are not instant and may take up to 24 hours to be applied to your betr account balance.

BPay

Facilities are available for BPAY transactions and betr's Biller Code is 250738. You can find your BPAY reference number when you click the "Deposit Button" and select the BPAY Tab. BPay is not an instant deposit method and can take up to 2 business days to be applied to your betr account balance. Bpay deposits using credit cards are no longer permitted.

Yes, betr offers a deposit and loss limit option. All pre-commitment limits are subject to a minimum 7 day “cooling off period”. This means that if you want to make your pre-commitment limit less restrictive (i.e., make a $500 daily loss limit a $1,000 daily wager limit) you are welcome to schedule the change immediately, but you will have to wait 7 days from the change date before the updated, less restrictive limit takes place. Any changes made to make your limits more restrictive (i.e., Making a $500 limit a $250 limit) will take immediate effect.

If you have backed a runner for a Win, Place, or Each-Way prior to the final acceptance time, your bet is lost. If the bet was placed after the final acceptance time, your bet will be refunded but deductions may be applied to remaining live bets. If you have backed a scratching in a double, your money is lost if the bet was placed prior to both legs being at the final acceptance stage. If the bet was placed after both legs were at the final acceptance stage, then your stake will be wagered on the remaining live leg, but deductions may be applied to remaining live doubles. Similar rules apply to Multis.
