FOREMAN'S GULLY (2) started at $5 last time on the back of a win at Wagga two starts ago but was below his best, finishing eighth over 1000m at Seymour after being in contention on the corner. Hard to beat in this suitable race. LIGHTNING LIZARD (4) is coming off a last-start fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1100m at Werribee. Among the leading chances. ROCKBARTON SHOUT (3) missed the frame two back on turf over 1200m at Kilmore but improved sharply on the dirt last time, scoring over 1000m at Carrathool. Expect she will go on with the job. DENSETSU (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1180m at Gundagai, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to find some form.
