Look for another barnstorming finish. RIPCORD (2) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on December 14 and finished 16th behind Western Empire over 1400m in the G3 Gold Rush at this track. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove hard to hold out. TWAIN'S ANGEL (13) returns from a short break after winning over 1200m at this track eight weeks ago. Shouldn't lack fitness after a recent Belmont Park trial placing. Well placed and is expected to feature. SNOWDOME (3) dug deep to score two runs back then was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 1099m at Albany last time six weeks ago. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Don't underestimate.
