VENETIAN CHOICE (13) raced handy on debut last start and gave a good sight, holding on for third and beaten 2.75 lengths over 1100m at Pakenham. Sure to improve and can get off the mark this time. QUEENS OF VINO (10) returned from a spell three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 1143m at Geelong. Goes up a rung or two but she is fitter and capable of running a bold race. MOTHERDUCK (6) is a two-year-old filly on debut from the stable of Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young. By Tagaloa from Diambra. A good gate is sure to assist. Bold showing expected. FARAKTA (3) is a filly by Farnan out of Priestess on debut. Fitter for a winning trial at Benalla. Worth watching for a betting move.
