CHAR (1) is backing up quickly after finishing in the money at Swan Hill over 1600m just six days ago. Strong run last time and will be hard to beat. OKESUTORA (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when fourth over 1608m at Colac three weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. SHAHIN (12) fought on for third last start over 1540m at Alexandra, beaten 1.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
