BUCKALTIUS (3) did little and finished 7 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1100m at Toowoomba last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at Ballina the run before. Paul Hamblin gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. RUMI STAR (6) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1200m at Warwick after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. PERMANENCE (1) finished third last time over 1100m at Horsham, beaten 3 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player.
