PATRICK MAY (1) was an impressive winner last time over 1400m at Warren, leading throughout and putting 3 lengths on his rivals. Should measure up again. MISS CAPRICORN (9) has not won for a long while. Last raced on February 16 when beaten one length into fourth at Dubbo over 1300m after being in the firing line on the bend. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. THE ARTEFACT (2) finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1300m at Dubbo when she worked home well, beaten a neck. Will strip fitter this time. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
