THE CUBAN (5) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1300m at Wangaratta. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. MISSY SPIKE (4) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1474m at Kyneton. Races well when second-up. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. INEZ (2) worked home well and finished third last time over 1450m at Kilmore, beaten 3 lengths. Hard to beat in this suitable race. WASHINGTON (8) produced another moderate effort last start when 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1600m at Albury. Better than recent efforts suggest.
