RUNAWAY LOVE (8) finished 4 lengths from the winner in fourth last start after being in contention on the corner over 1300m at Penola, an improvement on her 12th at Ararat the run before. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of a big performance. SQUAGAGA (2) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 1100m at Kilmore. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. FRENCH LOVE (6) showed good early pace last time and battled on gamely to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at Naracoorte. Must raise the bar but she has the talent to test this line-up. MAGNARDO (16) was well in the market when resuming last start but failed to threaten when a disappointing seventh at Moe over 1200m. Deserves another chance in this line up.
