Sound record at this distance with two wins and two minor placings from six runs and is sure to go well. RIVERINA POWER (7) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5.5 lengths away in 12th over 1400m at Caulfield. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around. TEN DEEP (14) was prominent on the corner and battled on well to finish third last start over 1400m at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 0.9 lengths when resuming. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. I AM VELVET (4) returned from a break last start and sat on the speed before lifting to score over 1200m at Sandown-Lakeside by a long neck. Solid top-three chance.
