Jye McNeil who has six wins when partnering stays on. Fitter and a likely improver. STRETAN ANGEL (9) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten one length, over 1000m at this track when resuming after a break. Will drift back but wind up late. Will prove tough to beat. GATSBY'S (15) settled well back when resuming last time then wound up strongly in the straight to finish third over today's journey in the G3 Eskimo Prince Stakes at Randwick. Stiffer assignment here but he should be very competitive. MAHARBA (2) returns from a short break after finishing fourth over 1100m in the G2 Rubiton Stakes at Caulfield four weeks ago. Kept up to the mark with a recent Cranbourne trial placing. Solid each-way chance.
