MUIRFIELD (4) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1200m at this track in a tougher race. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. ADAMANA (9) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1200m at Ballarat. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. THE SMASH FACTOR (6) was always well back when fresh from a spell last start and never really threatened when ninth over 1300m at Warrnambool. Definite improver with that run under his belt. OF THE VIEW (10) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 1300m at Swan Hill, beaten half a length. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish.
