Nicely placed and expected to go well. GORBACHEV (3) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 1400m at Hawkesbury. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Randwick trial. Strong winning chance on best figures. RIVANA (7) was last at the races when she finished fifth over 900m at Newcastle on December 1. Worth plenty of thought.
