MAGADAN (4) finished seventh last start over 2200m at Sunshine Coast after racing on the pace for much of the way. Sure to give a great sight. SIR ZINO (6) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 11th over 1700m at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. SMOKIN' DE QUO (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
