PEROLA (1) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1200m at Launceston, getting home by half a length. Has the class to produce another positive result. STARDARMUS (3) ran below expectations last time at Launceston over 1200m, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths. Yet to miss the frame from four starts at the trip, including a win and is sure to play a big role. EASTCOAST MISS (4) scored narrowly over 1220m at Launceston last time out with today's jockey Lauryn Bingley in the irons. Nice weight drop so she is one of the contenders again. ARUMA (2) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 4 lengths back in third over 1350m at Devonport Synthetic. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question.
