GEEGEEHAILSTORM (5) started at $3.90 last time on the back of a win at Launceston two starts ago but was below her best, finishing fifth over 1200m at Launceston. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. VAN SCOTIA (8) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest ninth at Launceston over 1400m. Expecting improvement.
