HIGH FLYIN' ROSIE (10) finished fourth when first-up from a spell last start over 1209m at Yarra Valley after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. BAYCAT (9) ran below expectations last time after being in contention on the bend at Seymour, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths starting at $6.50. This doesn't look as hard so she is likely to play a big role. INKAANTOON (11) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 2.25 lengths away in second over 1200m at Kilmore. One of the main contenders. CITY UNITED (3) went forward and gave a great sight when third over 1200m at Strathalbyn last time out. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Not to be discounted.
