MISSION GOLD (1) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish second over 1000m at this track. Improver with a solid top-three chance. GOOD HOTSPUR (14) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Canterbury over 1100m, beaten 4.5 lengths. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
