Hard to beat in this suitable race. PATISSIER (7) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1400m at Newcastle last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Hawkesbury the run before. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BOBS BACK (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 3 lengths when fifth in a 1400m contest at this track eight days ago. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. MACHINATION (6) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid fourth over 1209m at Sapphire Coast, beaten 2 lengths. Must raise the bar but this looks well within his grasp.
