LAMINAR (5) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell last start over 1009m at Stony Creek. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Going well and has strong prospects. MELIDESH (3) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 1100m at Geelong. One of the main contenders. WHITEHART (15) finished out of the money two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 11 lengths when eighth over 1200m at Towong three weeks ago. Taking on a better line-up this time but she is good enough to play a major role. CROATIAN ART (11) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1000m at Moonee Valley, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see her in the mix.
