Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. MONTE FLEUR (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at this track over 2100m. Won't find this as tough so she will be hard to beat. ALPINE KATE (5) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished second at Hobart two starts back then got the job done by a long neck last time out over 2100m at Hobart. Finds a suitable race and can build on that last-start success.
