Finished third at Emerald two starts back then landed the prize by 1.4 lengths as public elect last time out over 1200m at this track. Meets some better types this time but another win is not out of the question. INFLUENTIAL JACK (11) has switched yards since scoring by a neck at Darwin over 1300m on March 7. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. MAGICAL SLIPPER (6) didn't do a bad job when third last start over 1000m at Barcaldine, beaten 1.75 lengths. That followed a win at Blackall the start prior. Steps up a level but she is good enough. HURTLE (1) has been in the placings his past two starts, finishing second over 1200m at this track last time out. Should camp just off the leaders. One of the better hopes.
