SIOUX SPIRIT (5) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 5.5 lengths away in seventh over 1000m at Caulfield Heath on November 28. Winner of her most recent trial. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a spell in two starts. Won't find this assignment as tough. One to consider. FAITHINHER (10) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Ballarat but raced below expectations last time over 1100m at Werribee, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths. Has her share of talent and can do a lot better.
