STROMBUS (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1250m at Randwick Kensington after he was in the firing line on the bend. Will strip fitter and will be tough to beat. CONTRIBUTINGFACTOR (4) showed early speed from an outside draw last time then tired over the final stages to finish ninth, beaten 7 lengths, over 1600m at Randwick. Will push forward and is among the chances on his best form. OUR BAMBINO (2) lines up for the first time since October 18. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1280m at this track. One to consider.
