DESERT EDGE (1) was an impressive winner last time over 1900m at this track, leading throughout and putting 4.5 lengths on his rivals. Sure to take some stopping again. MAGIC MIKEY (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1940m at Albany after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a nice race and can take this out. WILLPOWER (3) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 1850m at Mt Barker. Jumps from a nice gate and he cannot be underestimated. BUCKLAND (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 3 lengths away in seventh over 1600m at Belmont Park. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
