GONE TO CAPE YORK (5) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by a head over 1100m at Nowra. Will go forward and should be in the finish again. BOOMTOWN CHAT (4) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 1.5 lengths away in fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Expected to be in this for a long way. CHILLY CHARLIE (3) last appeared when he finished fifth over 1500m at Newcastle on December 1. Sure to make his presence felt. BODY OF VENUS (10) is returning from a spell of eight months. Finished seventh at Tamworth over 1000m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Nathan Doyle. Placed in a recent trial.
