ESSKAY (8) finished fourth last start over 1900m at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and expected to feature. KIEFFER (7) missed the placings when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1600m at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. TAIPAN TOMMY (5) ran below his best last start when beaten 11 lengths into sixth from a wide draw over today's course and distance. A better showing is expected. MIRACOLI (4) won at this track two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 1600m at this track. Nicely placed to bounce back.
