HEAVENLY SHADES (13) recorded a strong maiden win over 1200m at Pakenham last time, getting there by 4 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and she is a leading contender. KALKALLO (4) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a second last start over 1300m at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EXCELINDEED (7) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a neck back in second over 1200m at Pakenham. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. BOSSY BENITA (12) registered her first win last start over 1300m at this track, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Re-unites with Craig Williams who was on board last start. Harder this time but still one to consider.
