ROYAL INVADER (13) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a neck back in second over 1400m at Pakenham. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. MERRIGOLD (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Sandown-Lakeside over 1200m after being in the firing line all the way. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. KING ZEPHYR (2) was in a different class last time out, settling well back before rounding up his rivals to score by 2.25 lengths over 1200m at Pakenham. Among the chances again. LIBERAMI (1) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 2.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1600m at Caulfield. Will drift back but wind up late. Don't underestimate.
