RUINS OF ROME (2) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1200m at Eagle Farm. Will find this easier than last start. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. TEELG (1) will find this a little easier than his second on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten a head at the end of 1200m at this track. Has plenty of upside so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. SPELLHOUND (3) was well in the market on debut last start but could only manage fourth at this track over 1000m. In the mix. SAMMAAN CITY (8) returns from a spell of six months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished fourth at Caulfield over 1400m when first-up last time in work. Placed in a recent trial.
