FOX REIGN (4) started at $10 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths at Muswellbrook over 1280m after being prominent at the bend. Hard to beat in this suitable race. POCKET EIGHTS (1) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1300m at Scone. Placed to advantage so expect another big run. FLYBALL (10) settled well back and never threatened when tenth over 1300m at Coffs Harbour last time out. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SWEET PATRIOT (3) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1206m at Port Macquarie, scoring by 6 lengths. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
