CANNY BE BETTER (1) showed good early speed from the inside draw when resuming last start before finishing third over 1100m at Mackay. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. NOBLE ATTACK (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1250m at Cairns after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. ELLIE'S DREAM (6) wasn't far away in his two starts prior to sub-par fifth last time out over 1250m at Cairns. Sure to do much better.
