NOLAN (2) was placed at first two runs back then well in the market but missed the money last time when fifth at Mackay. Should be further improved and not beaten far latest. The winkers have been removed for this and expected to be in the finish. ROTH 'N' BUBBLE (5) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by a nose over 1000m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again. CORBUSIER (7) was a narrow winner by a nose at Cairns two back then third at this track last time. Will appreciate the big weight drop. Top strike rate at the journey with two wins and three placings from five starts and is expected to be competitive. TALONS (4) closed last prep with a sixth over 1609m at this track on January 18. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at this track over 1000m. Still to win at the trip but goes well, placing at all four starts and cannot be taken lightly.
