ROCA MILE (2) finished 4.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1600m at this track three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Should park just off the speed. Expecting a bold showing. CALIFORNIA GOLD (1) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 2200m at this track. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BUGATTI (6) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish sixth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1600m at Riccarton Park. Should prove tough to hold out.
