LIGHTENING MANN (1) broke through for his maiden win over 1600m at Lingfield All Weather last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and a bold showing is expected. GLENRIDDING (8) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance at Bath over 1600m five months ago. Has found the right race. RULING MASTER (4) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at Wolverhampton over 1900m on December 21. Has to be respected. LADY CHARTWELL (2) returns after seven months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1400m at Salisbury. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
