Joe Doyle scored on him last time and retains the ride. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. BOURBON PROOF (3) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a second over 2100m in the G2 Avondale Guineas at this track when beaten a head. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. THEDOCTOROFLOVE (1) comes here following a win over 2100m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a head. Genuine type with two wins from five starts. Deserves serious consideration. WILLYDOIT (4) ran well below his best last time over 2100m in the G2 Avondale Guineas at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into tenth at $1.50. Should camp just off the leaders. Not to be discounted.
