Kicked off last prep with a sound second in a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter over 4000m. Sure to give backers a sight. DENZIL (4) was unplaced first-up two starts back in a hurdle (3300m) at Doncaster. Improved and found the frame last time, beaten 18 lengths, in a hurdle (3200m) at Warwick. Will take some stopping. KINTARO (2) has had plenty of chances but is building to a win, the latest effort a fourth in a hurdle (3800m) at Taunton. Had plenty of chances but looks well placed here and rates among the main hopes. BRECCIA (5) missed the frame two back in a 3220m flat race at Kempton Park All Weather then did a reasonable job last time when fifth in a hurdle (4000m) at Wincanton, 5 lengths away from the winner. Watch for a better run this time.
