Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. TAISEI FORTE (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. PEERLESS (2) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a seventh, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Reunites with Norifumi Mikamoto which is a proven winning combination. One of the main contenders. DREEPY (6) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1200m at this track, finishing 1.5 lengths back in sixth. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
