DONA VENUS (7) has not won for a long while. Last raced on March 14 when beaten 18 lengths into 13th at this track over 1000m. Likely improver with strong prospects. NITRO (8) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when one length away in second over 1200m at this track. Hard to leave out.
