DIXIELAND BLUES (9) turned in a good effort on debut four months ago when 2.25 lengths away in second at Southwell All Weather over 1600m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Will be better for that race experience and can return in winning form. GLADIUS (11) is a son of Night Of Thunder from the Listed winner Persona Grata who makes his debut. Strong profile and should play a role in the finish. ERNST BLOFELD (10) is a superbly bred three-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By Frankel from the former top race mare Quidura who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at G1 level. Comes out of the the strong juvenile stable of John & Thady Gosden. MY KINDA GHAIY (13) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1600m at Newcastle All Weather last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth on debut at Southwell All Weather the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form.
