VALINA (3) won over 1600m at Pau All Weather at her most recent appearance on January 29. Rates highly and should take some beating. TORNILLA (1) is a eight-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at Toulouse. Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. ALEXEJ (7) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage ninth over 1500m at Marseille Vivaux. Worth another chance. LOUIS SKI (9) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fifth at Toulouse over 1600m. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better.
