Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. MANNING (11) wasn't far away in his two starts prior to sub-par seventh last time out over 2200m at this track. Definitely worth another chance. SHIKAMI (13) was comfortably accounted for when sixth last time out over 1900m at this track, beaten 25 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. MISTER MELA (8) returned from a spell two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 12 lengths into ninth over 1500m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
