ROYAL STATUS (1) was expected to do more last start when out of the placings over 1600m at this track, beaten 19 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a better run will not surprise. FINCH (12) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 0.6 lengths over 1800m at this track. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
