DON AMANCIO (3) looks close to a win, finishing in the placings at his last couple of runs including a third most recently over 1600m at this track when beaten one length. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. MITOU (4) finished 1.3 lengths adrift in fourth at this track over 1600m at his latest appearance. Not out of the question due to a scarcity of opponents.
