TANTHEMAN (2) is a five-year-old rig who is having its first run for the Tan Eng Tee Jerome stable. Hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Kranji All Weather six months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Expected to be in the finish. DIAMOND RING (9) started at $5 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 5 lengths at this track over 1020m after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. THE SAINT (10) has a moderate winning strike-rate but impressed when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing second and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1020m. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
