RISK DU BRIZAIS (2) was returning from a layoff last start when beaten 8 lengths into seventh in a hurdle (3800m) at Angers. That run was the first for the Arnaud Chaille-Chaille & Francois Pamart stable. Second-up record reads well, with two wins from four runs. Genuine contender with added fitness. BLEKOLINA (4) was in the placings three back but has missed the placings subsequently, the latest result a ninth in a hurdle (3600m) at Compiegne. Should be far more competitive today. ISCHIA (5) was most recently at the races five months ago. Closed the last campaign with a win in a steeplechase (4400m) at Auteuil, getting home by 2 lengths. Will be thereabouts at the business end.
