AFIRE (11) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a neck, over 1400m at this track on debut. Solid prospects. LIQUID BLUE (12) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1600m at Riccarton Park. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is one of the main contenders. MOUNTAIN OF LIGHT (4) ran a better race last start, finishing 7 lengths away in sixth over 1600m at Riccarton Park. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
