PRETTY FLY (12) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Ashburton, beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. DE RUSSIAN ROCKET (1) turned in a nice run last time to finish second over 1335m at Gore. Looks well placed so expect another big run. IMPERATIVE (7) was strongly fancied when third last time over 2000m at Gore. Capable of taking this out. BEAUJOLAIS (6) is a 10-start maiden who has been in the money three times, Could only manage fourth last time out over 1600m at Riccarton Park. Has a solid record here with two top-three finishes to her name. In the mix.
