ELTERWATER (4) is in top form this campaign, including a 1.5 lengths win over 2000m at Chelmsford last time and making it two in a row. Looks well placed again here. CARAMAY (2) ran well below her best last time over 2200m at Southwell All Weather, beaten 2.75 lengths into fifth at $5.50. Can atone for that last run. SALAMANCA CITY (1) last appeared on October 16 when a good fourth over 2200m at Kempton Park All Weather, beaten 2.25 lengths. Worth plenty of thought. CELEBRATING ETHEL (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth over 1900m at this track. Well placed and can fill a top-three spot.
